GITA ANZ Representation on the
Western Australia Land Information System (WALIS)
The GITA ANZ representative on WALIS is Mr Phil Beach of Water Corporation.
Previous representatives have included Mr Andy Neemann of Western Power and Mr David Bulfield of Water Corporation. Andy is a current GITA ANZ director while David is a former director - thus giving WA a prominent presence in the association.
GITA ANZ contributes to WALIS by coordinating the Utilities stream of the 18-monthly WALIS conference in Perth.
This collaborative approach has so far been very productive and GITA ANZ will continue to work closely with WALIS, Landgate and our Primary and Corporate members in Western Australia to promote the benefits of Geospatial Information and Technology in the development of infrastructure in WA.
